Who it's for
Managers and fleet supervisors using the PosiTrace mobile app (Android). This is the manager / fleet-view app, not the PosiTrace Driver App.
How to see odometer & engine hours
- Open the PosiTrace app on your Android device and sign in.
- Find the vehicle or piece of equipment you want and tap it to open its detail screen.
- Scroll to the meter rows, where you'll see:
- Odometer — in km or mi based on your account's locale
- Engine Hours — in hours
- An "Updated…" timestamp under each value showing how fresh the reading is
- Tap the refresh icon ↻ next to a value to fetch the latest reading.
- On some equipment the value isn't cached yet — tap "Get Reading" to pull the current odometer or engine hours on demand.

Good to know
- The values are read-only — the app displays meters but does not let you edit them.
- Odometer and engine hours each show an "Updated…" timestamp so you know how current the reading is. Use the refresh icon ↻ to update it.
- If a value can't be retrieved (for example, the device has been offline for a long time, or the feature isn't enabled on that equipment), the value won't display — tap "Get Reading" to attempt a fresh pull.
- Units (km vs mi) and number format follow your account locale, matching the web Locate equipment detail page.
