How to Request Additional Device(s) in Locate
This guide explains how to add new devices to your existing PosiTrace account using our “Request for Additional Devices” Feature. This self-service tool allows you to request additional units directly from your dashboard, bypassing manual back-and-forth and speeding up your fulfillment process.
Overview of the Process
Adding devices to your fleet is now a streamlined, four-step journey:

Request: Select an active subscription and specify the number of units.

Sign: Receive and sign the automatically generated digital Order Form.

Automated Billing: The system generates your invoice automatically upon signing.

Fulfillment: Our team prepares your shipment and adds the new units to your account.
How to Request Additional Devices
1. Locate Your Subscriptions
Navigate to the Subscriptions section within the Locate platform. Here, you will see a list of all your currently active contract sections and service plans.

2. Create a Subscription Request
Find the specific subscription plan you wish to add units to and click the "Request Additional Devices" button located next to that item.

3. Fill Out the Request Form
A pop-up window will appear. Depending on your account type, you will need to provide:

Billing Start Date: When you would like the service for the new units to begin.

Devices: The total number of additional units required.

Contract Term (If applicable): Select your preferred term (e.g., 12, 24, or 36 months).

Once you click Save, the system will automatically generate a Quote and an Order Form for your review.
Tracking Your Request Status
You can monitor the progress of your order at any time by navigating to Billing > Requests for Additional Devices.

Next Steps

Keep an eye on your email: You will receive a notification as soon as the digital Order Form is ready for your signature.

Automated Activation: Once the order is signed and the invoice is processed, your new devices will be prepared for shipment.
