      Is my truck exempt from ELD based on its age?

      In Canada:

      • Trucks manufactured in the year 2000 and after require ELD.
      • Trucks manufactured 1999 and earlier are exempt.
      • If a new truck has an engine 1999 or earlier, it is not exempt in Canada at this time.
