Drive time that was originally started by an automatic driving event (the vehicle really did move at the beginning of that status) cannot later be reduced, even if it went on too long. The correct procedure here is to annotate the log and add a remark for the driving status error.
- Newer versions of Apollo now have the ability to label a mistaken driving event as “System or User Error”. This will take the driving time away from the driver’s clock, however please note the driving status will remain visible in the logs as is required by ELD regulations.
