Credit Card
- From the Billing menu, select Edit Billing Method
- Select Stripe Credit Card PI
- Enter credit card details, including Country and Postal Code. These details match billing details with your financial institution
- Click Save
Direct Debit / Pre-authorized Debit
- From the Billing menu, select Edit Billing Method
- Select Stripe PAD (stands for pre-authorized debit) and click Add new Stripe Acss Debit
The Stripe interface will be launched, where you can select your banking institution and log in using your usual banking credentials. Follow any prompts in this process to connect to your banking system.
There are two ways to connect: the quickest is the Bank Login process, but if the Bank Login process is unavailable for the particular type of bank account being used, the Manual Verification process is available (though this can take a couple of days).
Bank Login verification:
- Click Agree from the launched Stripe Interface
- Select bank or search for a bank not shown
- Log into banking institution
- Connection process will start
- Select account
- Agree to PAD agreement
- Bank account will now be listed and available to use as payment
Manual Verification
- From the Stripe interface, select small text at the bottom with a link that says “manually verify”.
- Enter cheque details:
- Institution
- Transit
- Account number
Stripe will proceed to make two micro-transactions into the account (small deposits). This takes about 24 – 48 hours. From here, you should check their online banking records within this time to receive the amounts.
Once completed, report the dollar amount of the 2x microtransactions (MTX) back to PosiTrace support, and we will verify their bank account.
In some cases, you may get an email from Stripe to verify the payment amounts. If this is the case, you can self-verify; however, if you do not receive this email, please contact our support team with the amounts, and we will verify your account for you.
