# How to update your billing information

## You can easily update your billing information with just a few steps.

To update your billing information, just follow these steps.

1. Go to **Portal → Billing → Edit Billing Method**.

2. Under **New Method**, select **Stripe Credit Card** or **Stripe PAD**.

3. Fill in your payment information as appropriate.
   
   If using a credit card, enter your card number, expiration date, CVC, country, and postal code, then go to step 4.

   If you are using PAD payments, click the **+ Add Bank Account** button.

   From here, you can link your bank account. You can log into your bank via Stripe to automatically set this up by clicking the **Agree** button, or you can set it up manually by clicking the link labelled **manually verify** below the Agree button.

4. Click **Save**.

If you need to set up payments using a different payment method, such as direct debit, wire transfer, or cheque, please open a support ticket.

Please note that PosiTrace *cannot* accept credit card information over the phone or via email. Please do not attempt to submit such information via telephone or email. A PosiTrace representative will **never** ask for any credit card information other than the last four digits of the card number and the expiration date.
