How to Access Multi-Account View in Locate
This guide outlines how to use the Multi-Account Access feature, designed for users who manage assets across multiple organizations or sub-accounts. This feature consolidates your data into a single "Command Center" view.
Multi-Account Executive Dashboard
1. Switching to Multi-Account View
To view all your assets simultaneously, you must toggle the view from a specific account to the All-Account mode.

Step 1: Locate the Account Selector dropdown in the top navigation bar (usually displaying your current Organization name).

Step 2: Select "All Accounts" from the top of the list.

Step 3: The interface will refresh, aggregating data from every sub-account you have permissions to access.
2. Integrated Live Map
Once in Multi-Account view, the Live Map becomes your primary tool for cross-account oversight.

Unified Tracking: View every equipment from all accounts on one continuous map.

Clustering: For high-density areas, icons may cluster. Zoom in to separate individual devices.
3. Consolidated Equipment & Device Lists
Instead of switching back and forth between accounts to check inventory, you can manage everything from the Account Section.

Master Equipment List: Navigate to Account > Equipment List. You will see a new column labeled "Account" that identifies the owner of each unit.

Bulk Filtering: Use Account based filter for the equipment list.
4. Global Live Notifications
Stay informed on critical events without missing a beat. The notification center now supports Cross-Account Stream.

Real-Time Alerts: Alerts for Geofence breaches, speeding, or maintenance across all accounts will appear in the live notification feed.
5. Step-by-step Details

Users can switch to “All Accounts” to view equipment from all accounts.

Once “All Accounts” option is selected, the user can view all the accounts groups under the equipment tab.

If an equipment is selected, the account name is also displayed on the equipment snippet.

Users can see a detailed equipment list by using the “Equipment List” option in the Account menu.

Detailed equipment information can be viewed by clicking the magnifying glass icon. However, equipment details cannot be edited at this stage. Additionally, the equipment list includes an Account column to help identify which equipment belongs to which account.

Users can also view device details through the Devices option in the Account menu.

The device details also include an Account column, which shows the account name for each device.

Both the Equipment List and Devices views include filters for accounts.

Just like equipment, geofences and landmarks are also grouped by account name.
