The driver receives an error “You are logged on another device”

In the event a driver is still logged in on a device they do not have access to, or if a driver receives the error they are logged in on another device, this driver can be unlocked remotely.

  • Please note: the unlock process will change the driver’s status to off duty at that time.

For drivers:

  • Please contact an administrator or fleet manager on your company's PosiTrace account to initiate the unlock procedure via the PosiTrace portal.

For administrators: 

  • Navigate to Account > Drivers

  • Click on the "Details" magnifying glass, or click on the Driver's name

  • Expand the ELD section of the Driver information

  • Use the Unlock button

  • Confirm the Unlock procedure
